Production

We are challenged by spotting and developing new leather articles, colors and embossments, properties that convey the perfect feel and the most contemporary form and design for our customers.

The facility has a tannery capacity of half a million square feet we use some of the finest hazard free imported chemicals to tan our Leather. Two full-time technicians at our company have a combined experience of over 30 years in tanning. Their job is to inspect the tanning process to ensure that it produces leather that meets our customers' requirements.

To control the shine and smoothness of the leather, our hydraulic automated plating machines are used. We have an array of embossing plates that allow us to make different prints such as crocodile, lizard, and henceforth, which give the leather a distinctive look.

Senior managers inspect the leather after it is removed from the tannery department before it is used to manufacture mass goods. During this phase, leather is graded according to its quality. In the event that a piece of leather differs even slightly from the approved piece, it is sent back for reprocessing.

We have cutters who are expert in the art of leather cutting in our cutting department. Bags with patch work can have up to 100 different pieces of leather attributed to the product. To cut leather, specialized razor sharp knives and clicking machines designed for bulk production are used, followed by stitching after the pattern has been designed by the head technician.

Handmade from start to finish, each bag and leather accessory range has its own unique character. We show the care and attention that goes into each of our leather handbags, travel bags, and other products.

To stitch the leather with its respective and fittings, we use state-of-the-art Japanese and German sewing machines. Specifically made leather cutting machines are fierce enough to cut through leather in a clean manner. Additionally, our craftsmen use their innate skill in crafting leather to create goods with minimal quality defects. They have been part of the family for over two decades in some cases!

Our final step before packaging is quality control, as well as one of the most closely monitored departments. Under high beam LED lights, the goods are carefully inspected for color differences, damage, or fitting tarnish.Products with any such defect are immediately rectified. Lose threads are cut and burned, glue and marks are cleaned and the fittings are polished at every inch of every bag. Any product found to have a defect will be repaired at once. Every inch of the bag is polished to remove glue and marks, burn off lost threads, and polish every line of the fittings!

The goods produced by Suz Fashion are individually packaged according to the requirements of their customers. Upon shipping to our international clients, the care labels, price tags, fittings, and plastic bags are stuffed with recyclable materials, tied with care labels, and packaged before being sent by air or sea.

Our finishing stage ensures that the leather has a good feel, looks good and has a consistent shade.
